Sometimes getting lost is the only way to find what you're looking for.
Lenny left his wife Monique a healthy legacy and a bucket list—a list of adventures they’d hoped to experience before cancer took his life. For four years his widow ignored it, too busy raising their daughter to consider the painful task of resurrecting shattered dreams. But when Monique notices her earth-mother neighbor Judy acting crazy in her empty nest, and their best friend, Becky, traumatized by chilling news, Monique dusts off that wish list and contemplates it with new eyes. Lenny never meant for her to do this alone—and this crazy list of adventures just might save them all....

Lisa Verge Higgins is the RITA-nominated author of fifteen novels that have been published worldwide and translated into as many languages—quite a switch for this former PhD candidate in chemistry. Currently this opera loving, novice archer and mother of three is finding inspiration in women's lives and women's friendships. The Proper Care and Maintenance of Friendship, her first foray into mainstream women’s fiction, won the 2011 Golden Leaf Award for Best Single Title and was anointed a top-twenty book-of-the-year by Barnes & Noble's General Fiction Book Club -- as was her second book, One Good Friend Deserves Another, in 2012. March 2013 will bring her third novel, Friendship Makes The Heart Grow Fonder.
Lisa currently lives in New Jersey with her husband and their three teenage daughters, who never fail to make life interesting.
